New Forest Designs provides bespoke interior design for your home. Design, create and deliver is our motto and we always do this with you at the forefront of our mind. With your help, we can make your interior design dreams come true. New Forest Designs is a place where art meets reality and where your aspirations can be brought to life in line with your budget. Whether your project is a bespoke handmade roman blind or a full-scale refurbishment, our work will be delivered to a high standard and promptly. We take pride in all aspects of our work and we always design with passion, so the result exceeds your expectation. Our team has many years joint experience in construction, property, management and interior design so your project is in safe and experienced hands.

We will begin your interior design journey with the concept stage, which is a creative and satisfying process, we will take you from here through to the inspiration board which brings us closer to the design development stage. Next, everything is brought to life with the sample board where you can see specified materials, products, drawings and 3D visualisation. You can envisage the combination of stunning new colours and textures that will adorn your home. We think interior home design should be an exciting and stress-free experience, so we offer full project management from design to delivery.

Bespoke and handmade window dressing is a popular service for our clients. Further to bespoke handmade curtains, we create bespoke handmade roman blinds of the highest quality. All the window dressings are made by us. We offer a complete experience from free measurement, quotation and professional advice through to the order of materials and fabric and finally the delivery and fitting of your new bespoke window dressing. We work with a vast range of suppliers such as Clarke & Clarke, Studio G, Linwood, Elenbach, Archroll, Titley & Marr, Hallis Hudson, Evans Textiles, Rol-Lite Blinds and Velux, to provide made to measure Velux blinds, roller blinds, venetian blinds and much more.

As part of our home interior design service, we also offer upholstery. We can change the look of a modern set of dining chairs so that it blends beautifully with a new home colour scheme or we can give a tired and priceless family heirloom a new lease of life. Using a combination of modern and traditional techniques we can transform your out-dated or spoiled furniture into fresh, comfy, practical and stylish pieces that you can be proud of.

The magical touches to any home are the bespoke furnishings that make it unique. We create cushions and even lampshades designed to complement the style of your décor and existing colour scheme or even to match your newly handmade window dressings. Magical touches are only such if they have been designed and created especially for you thus offering something unlike anything factory mass-created and found on the shop shelf.

Working on the new logo can be tough… Which version do you like the most? The one with the name flowing or the one with the lines? Your opinion matters so please let me know

Wardrobe makeovers… In many instances we paint the door, sometimes frame and add wallpaper in the recess. We always change handles. I like adding interest with mirrors glued onto the flat surface doors. Creating inbuilt wardrobe in a recess is easy. But how about cutting in half existing three door wardrobe to place it on each side of the bed? 😃 Small or big projects we are happy to take it on #newforestdesigns #interior #homedesign #wardrobe #makeover #hampshireproperty

Accessories and how to use them… These things are as important as all the other aspects of your home. I call them magic touches. If you struggle to use these well then I’ll give you a little tip. Remove all accessories from your room. Look at the bare set of furniture, walls, floor. Then ask yourself what the space need to come alive, what will lift it up and start bringing slowly item by item back into the room. Each time check if it looks right. Think position, placement, breathable space around the item. Does it go with the style of your property, room etc. Are you maintaining cohesion between all the items? Are they making you happy? If not give them away, donate to charity, give them as a gift. And if all fails contact us and we’ll gladly help

One of the latest designs by Julia for the transformation of our clients lounge. We have decided on simplicity, classic feel and flow between this room and the other rooms that we also designed for this client. The neutral colour scheme will allow to set the other items off within the room. Don’t forget to use colours of nature like green, sand and black for that organic feel and adding warmth in your own home.
